USV Tupan in standard setup
The USV Tupan is the first autonomous vessel model registered in Brazil (Port Authority of Rio de Janeiro, 2020). The entire design of the vessel was done in house, in the city of Rio de Janeiro/RJ. Its construction was also carried out locally, using Brazilian labor. The USV Tupan is a multipurpose autonomous vessel, designed and built in Brazil and validated to operate in an offshore environment. Made of marine aluminum and designed in accordance with the MASS Guideline Rev.3, the English standards that were the reference for the development of the Provisional Regulation for the Operation of Autonomous Vessels, issued in February 2020 by the Directorate of Ports and Coasts (DPC / Navy of the Brazil). The vessel's first sea trials were carried out in August 2020, and it has been available for commercial operations since October of the same year.

For aerial inspections and monitoring of large areas, robotic integration between the USV Tupan and an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) can be applied. We offer environmental monitoring and inspection services for offshore assets using this system.

USV Tupan + ROV
USV Tupan can be integrated with inspection-class ROVs to perform underwater inspections. This robotic integration is capable of operating in port and offshore environments, helping the inspection schedule of ships and platforms.

USV Tupan + hydrographic sensors
USV Tupan can be equipped with a module to support the main sensors for carrying out hydrographic studies, including multibeam echo sounders, CTDs, ADCPs, DVLs, in addition to sensors for monitoring water quality parameters.

USV Tupan for transport
of small loads
To carry out transhipment activities involving loads of up to 200 kg, the USV Tupan can be equipped with a cargo container specially designed for this purpose.
