Cargo transportation between offshore platforms

In November 2024, in partnership with Petrobras, TideWise executed a Proof of Concept (PoC) for the autonomous transport of small cargo between offshore platforms in the Campos Basin. The test involved the use of the USV Tupan, remotely controlled from TideWise's Remote Operations Center, located in Rio de Janeiro, more than 300 km away. The vessel successfully transported cargo between the P-43 and P-48 platforms, and also autonomously collected water samples during the operation.

The Proof of Concept (PoC) demonstrated the technical and operational feasibility of autonomous offshore transportation, reinforcing safety and reducing logistical costs. This is the first autonomous operation of its kind carried out in Brazil.
