In April 2026, TideWise launched a project in partnership with Petrobras and UFES to conduct a Proof of Concept (PoC) of Hydrographic Survey in the pilot area of the future RJ-02-Aracatu Offshore Wind Farm and along the route of its submarine power cable, near the Port of Açu (RJ). The operation was divided into two campaigns using the autonomous USV Tupan: the first focused on high-resolution multibeam bathymetry (MBES) and sound velocity profiler (SVP); and the second directed at geophysical surveying of the subsoil and target mapping with the SideScan Sonar (SSS Edgetech 4205) and the Sub-bottom Profiler (SBP Geoacoustics). The project marked the company's pioneering entry into Brazil's offshore wind program, validating the naval drone's ability to execute complex meshes of sounding lines and consolidating the delivery of a comprehensive package of processed data and technical reports in accordance with regulatory standards.
